Excellent red storage cabbage with a beautiful interior structure and fresh eating quality that can be planted close for production of small to medium heads. Dense, round heads have a good wax layer, making them ideal candidates for storage. In the Pacific Northwest, these overwintering cabbages mature in February and early March. Exceptional cold tolerance and field holding quality carry them through the low light conditions of winter.
NOTE: OUR QUALITY ASSURANCE: All seed lots of this variety are independently tested for the diseases black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. Campestris) and black leg (Phoma lingam). Only seed lots that are found to be free of black rot and black leg are released for sale. No diseased seed will be sold.
