
Plants grow 7' tall and bear 8-12" gold-yellow or maroon-red ears. Primarily used for cornmeal, posole, or hominy. A flint corn that probably hails from the western Abenaki (Sokoki) indigenous people of Vermont. Passed down to Roy and Ruth Fair of North Calais, Vermont, in the 1930s from Roy’s father, who received it from his own father. 90-95 days.
