Chocolate Beauty sweet pepper ripens from green to a beautiful brown. The pepper is sweetest when fully ripe. Very productive plants. Pods are ready to eat 70-75 days from transplant.
Corbaci pods are a sweet cayenne type chile that measures about 6 inches long by about .75 inch wide on plants about 24 inches tall. Matures from green to orange and finally to red. Plant is very productive and originates from Turkey. Culinary uses include using dried and as a powder.
Feher Ozon Paprika originated in Hungary. The pods grow up to 5 inches long and mature from creamy white, to orange and finally red. The pods are sweet and make an excellent paprika powder when ground. If you only have room for one paprika pant and do not like heat, this is the plant to grow.
King of the North is a sweet bell type pepper measuring between 4 - 5" long by 3.5 - 4" wide. Matures from green to red on plants that measure 18 - 24 inches tall. Early season maturing in 60 - 70 days. Performs well in shorter Northern growing seasons.
Jimmy Nardello's sweet Italian frying pepper originated from Basilicata, a southern region of Italy. It takes its name from seed saver Jimmy Nardello, who brought the seeds from Italy while immigrating to Connecticut in 1887. The Jimmy Nardello's pepper is sweet and light when eaten raw. It is considered one of the very best frying peppers as its fruity raw flavor becomes perfectly creamy and soft when fried. This sweet pepper matures in 80 days from transplant. Its fruits are bright red, 6 to 7 inch long and are about 1 in. wide. The pepper tapers from the shoulder to tip, with a curving, somewhat wrinkled appearance.
Sheepnose Pimiento is an heirloom pepper. The flesh of the pod is very thick and full of flavor. It is excellent for fresh eating as well as canning. Matures bright red in 70 to 80 days.
